Mushroom Children

The Mushroom Children is a series of 3d printed busts showing children being 'infected' with mushrooms.

Far from the traditional, sentimental way of portraying children they are depicted without revealing their feelings. Like a mute mushroom in the woods they seem to hide their real nature.

Because we cann't get close the the Mushroom Chilren, the series suggests that the world and the feelings of the child is a lost and forgotten realm that the grown up viewer is denied acces to.
